The Catholic Community at Cornell is excited to welcome you to Cornell!
Led by director Fr. Daniel McMullin, the campus ministry team, and student leaders, this overnight retreat scheduled for August 15-17 at the beautiful Christ the King Retreat House will allow you to meet other incoming students and to start off your campus faith journey on the right foot. During this retreat, there will be opportunities for learning, praying, and playing including informal group sessions led by upperclassmen, Mass, time for reflection about your transition to college, and plenty of hanging out and fun activities.
When: August 15-17, 2022. You will need to sign up for a morning move-in time on August 15th as the retreat will commence in the early afternoon of August 15th.
August 15
1:00 p.m.: Participants and families invited to meet Cornell Catholic staff and tour our Anabel Taylor Hall offices.
2:00 p.m.: Mass for new students and their families
3:30 p.m.: Bus leaves for Christ the King Retreat House.
August 16 Retreat at Christ the King Retreat House
August 17
11:00 a.m.: Bus leaves Christ the King Retreat House and returns to Cornell
Where: After moving your belongings into your dorm room on the morning of August 15, 2022, participants will gather at Anabel Taylor Hall. Families are invited to accompany participants to meet the campus ministry staff, participate in the Mass, and say final good-byes. We will then bus participants and student leaders to Christ the King Retreat House.
Cost: $225 (This covers your room at the retreat house, transportation to the retreat house, all meals, and a T-shirt)
