The Cornell Catholic Community values our incoming students! We invite you to attend our special welcome events, a first-year student retreat, and take advantage of the opportunity to meet with upper-level students throughout your first year.
Fr. Daniel McMullin and the members of the CCC ministry staff are committed to helping students find a place they can call home on a vast and variable campus, through liturgies, events, and as open ears to hear the new stories of the next generation of Cornell students.
Typically, incoming freshmen as well as transfer students. Students who are looking to get involved in the community for the first time are also invited to participate in our "first-year" events (for example, new converts to Catholicism or transfer students). For graduate student engagement, check out our Grad Student Ministry.
We especially encourage our first-year students to participate in daily and weekly Mass, the Kairos Retreat, and our winter service trip. Looking to get involved on a weekly basis? We invite you consider joining one of our small prayer or discussion groups. We are always seeking new people to serve in liturgical ministry and music ministry. Experience or no experience, your fellow Catholic students need your volunteer service! This could be your opportunity to learn a new skill as you live out the faith and perform good works.
