Spring 2025 Bible Study Opportunities:
Bible studies led by Dr. Matthew Hall meet in the Catholic Library (Anabel Taylor Hall Rm. G22). The following Bible Studies will meet on a weekly basis whenever classes are in session for the spring 2025 semester:
"Sunday Mass Readings," Sundays, 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
"Tuesday Mass Readings," Tuesdays, 9:35 a.m. to 10:25 a.m.
"Penitential Psalms," Fridays, 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
We hold a variety of campus-minister led Bible Study groups each semester, centered on different biblical books or themes. If you are interested in joining a bible study, please reach out to Matthew Hall ([email protected]).
Past Bible Studies
The Cornell Catholic Graduate and Professional Student Group is a gathering of Catholic students enrolled in many different graduate and professional programs at Cornell. We meet once a week to discuss a wide range of Catholic topics and to have fun within a supportive and caring community. In addition to these regular events, we also generally hold a variety of social events and a book club throughout the semester.
If you would like to acquire the link to join us for a meeting, get on our mailing list, or ask a question, please don't hesitate to reach out to Luisa Castillo (lfc56). We would love to meet you!
Small Faith Sharing Groups offer an opportunity to deepen your faith through fellowship, discussion, and reflection. Meeting weekly for about an hour, these groups engage with short spiritual readings and share personal insights in a supportive community. Guided by the Holy Spirit, participants grow in their relationship with God and one another. For more information, reach out to Christina Boehm ([email protected]).
The Lenten Challenge for Men is a weekly small group focused on spiritual growth through prayer, fellowship, and asceticism, inspired by St. Joseph, Universal Patron of the Church. Meeting Sunday afternoons for one hour, participants read and reflect on Consecration to St. Joseph by Fr. Donald Calloway, MIC. The group encourages men to strengthen their faith and character by imitating St. Joseph’s virtues of humility, discipline, and diligence during the Lenten season.
